Peter Higgs and I wrote up this brief explanation of ‘creative intensity’, the core concept of researches that we had actually conducted separately, in separate continents, to find we had reached common conclusions. The methodology involved was that which lay behind the [Dynamic Mapping] of the UK’s Creative Industries and was adopted, in modified form, by the UK Department of Culture, Media and Sport (DCMS). Written for a blog managed by Berndt Fesel, it is a quite succinct and readable statement of the method.
