This slideshow was presented to the 2009 AHE conference and to the 2009 conference of the World Association for Political Economy (WAPE). It has a couple of interesting features: it summarises the argument, set out in this book chapter, for a massive investment in creative industries in combination with investment in new green technologies. It also featured in two panels which we organised jointly with Victoria Chick, Prabhat Patnaik and Geoff Tily, cementing an emerging collaboration between Temporal Marxist and Post-Keynesian approaches to the current crisis.
The entry comprises the AHE panel proposals, the WAPE proposal, and the two slideshows (which are more or less identical but included for completeness). Regrettably I don’t have access to any of the other AHE presentations.
