Whilst looking through the files in my archives, I found this contribution by Michel Husson to the Brenner Debate. Husson, writing from time to time under the name Perez, was a brilliant and dedicated economist who is sadly no longer with us. I will include both his seminal articles on value theory, and my obituary, on this site. He was in may ways a precursor of TSSI, like myself strongly influenced by Ernest Mandel, and I was pleased to persuade Capital and Class, recently, to publish an article of his that constitutes one of the very first critiques of the neo-Ricardian view and contains almost all the arguments later developed by TSSI scholars.
I do not know if this article has been published elsewhere. It is in French. The English version was printed in Historical Materialism 5, winter 1999 and remains on Michel’s site
